OUR MISSION
The Transformation Initiative was founded with a single mission: To catalyze transformative change across Canada's five core sectors and actualize a low carbon, circular, and resilient economy.
We are striving to meet this goal by developing our own innovative programs and projects, as well supporting our clients in meeting their sustainability goals.
We are doing this through three distinct streams:
1) cross-sector project collaboration
2) advisory services
3) market outreach
Great efforts are being made in the pursuit of climate action and social equity; however, these efforts are driven within independent sectors. As a result, expert knowledge, proven experiences, and valuable lessons learned often remain within these isolated verticals. We have yet to successfully respond to social and environmental impacts - climate change, population growth, resource depletion, and food security - as a united market. The Transformation Initiative is reimagining how our core sectors can effectively and efficiently work together to drive lasting change.

SOVEREIGNTY GARDENS
A Community Grow & Share Initiative
Imagine if our rooftops, backyards, and lane-ways were used to grow food for the most vulnerable.
We are asking Ontarians, who are willing and able, to support their communities by cultivating their own fruit and vegetable gardens. Our goal is to provide access to fresh fruit and vegetables to local food banks so we can support the most vulnerable in our communities.
